    Volume and surface area of octagon
    If a shape of pool will be octagon and perimeter is 480 feet and height is 5feet what's the surface area and volume?

    The area of an octagon, can be gotten from the formula

    . Where r is the length from the center of a vertex.

    Use a little trig to find r from your given side length of 60, plug it in and you're set.
