What is the value of a signed 1959 Joe Adcock card?
My uncles father was Joe Adcock. I was very close to him before he died. He owned one of the largest thoroughbred breeding farms in Louisiana if not the biggest. My father trained racehorses and my dads sister married Jay Adcock, Joes son. One day Joe Adcock and his son (my uncle) came to my house to talk about racing and Joe asked me to come out to his car. He pulled out a 1959 Topps baseball card, signed it and gave it to me. I was blessed to have known him and was sad when he died of Alzheimers in the late 90's. The card I have is 100% authentic, straight from the man himself, and I was wondering what that card is worth. If anyone has comments or an answer, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Artist--somewhere between 1959 and 1962 [ 9 Answers ]

There are many groups that sang "Gloria." One of my favorites is the Cadillacs. However, there was another version--late 50's or very early '60's---the same words, BUT the lead singer cries in the middle of it. Can anyone tell me the artist---most likely a group. Thank you.
