Hi I'm wondering how to start looking for my dad I know his name and where he was from but he's not on my birth certificate so not sure where to start

If you like you can supply as much information as possible and we will be glad to assist you as much as possible. (ie) Mother, fathers name, and/or last known state of residence would help. There are also a number of free search sites which you can take advantage of.

First start by talking to your mother, where was he from, where did he live at the time she knew him, when was the last time she saw or heard from him, where was his parents from, did he have any brothers and sisters.
