I have a 4 year oldmonitor 2400 which has been totally reliable until recently. I have been through the error 14 stage with dirty filters at the tank and at the heater as well as running out of fuel. This problem is error 13 where the unit fires up for approx 2 minutes then shuts down, I removed and cleaned the flame rod detector which seemed to eliminate the problem for about a week although the dealer says that is never the problem, I tried plugging into a different outlet (ground problem?) which seemed to work for about a week but now its back to the 2 minute shut down. I'm at my wits end but I really, really don't want to throw away an $1800 dollar heater for something that is probably so simple.
The manufacturer has been totally unhelpful and although my local distributor is trying his best, he says it probably has to be totally rebuilt.
When it does run, it has a beautiful wide, ble flame.

Here is a copy of your owners manual. Copy to your computer for future reference. It will take awhile to DL. Note air bubble in fuel line will cause shut down at different times. Great heaters.

We've been getting an error code of 14 on the display... but thew fuel tank is full... what can be causing this problem

Error Code 13 is for "No Ignition". The Causes are: Failure of igniter, solenoid pump or circuit board.
Incorrect wiring or flame rod touches to burner parts. Air pressure switch or overheat open.

I have been getting an error code e14 and the heater has been working till last week when it went out and shoed e14 code so I took the pipe from fuel filter loose and the filter was cleaned and I drained the line coming from the unit and the checked to see if the filter was clogged and it was not. So I took the line off from the unit and blown it out and then I removed the strainer and it was not dirty either , so blown the line out also and then reconnect all of the pipes and put the strainer back , before I reconnect the line going to unite I done a flush of the line and I have fuel going into the unit and I loosen the plate where the strainer is to see if fuel was getting in the unit and it was going in the unit also , the unit did start up and ran long enough to start heating up and then it went out and stayed out so what is wrong with the heater.
