Can I be sued for divorce for leaving?
I have been married 21 years, and have moved out of the house.
Can my husband sue me for divorce on the grounds of abandonment?
Also, I have several supporters, including therapists and doctors, who aided me in making this decision to leave. What is the law in NJ?

In most places you don't even need a reason to divorce, but if you moved out, yes he can use that as a reason for a divorce.

So why have you not filed for divorce first?
