    Bank account garnished
I live in the state of Georgia and today iI found out my account was garnished resulting in a zero balance. Is this garnishment a one time thing or does the garnishment stand until the amount is satisfied?

Well first you stop putting any money into that account, it will remain in place till the debt is paid.
Also if you have checks out they will bounce if they have not cleared, so you will have bad check charges at the back, plus charges to the places you wrote the checks to most likely.
