    H1 Visa Validity
    Hi,
    I was working in USA with a H1 Visa for 3 years. My Visa is in extension period and it is valid till May-2009. I resigned my job and now I am doing my PG course in India.

    As per the documents my visa is valid till May-2009. As I have resigned my job and returned back to India, will my H1 become invalid? Please let me know.

    Your status ends by the date of your resignation, not in the visa. You have 10 days to pack and leave US.
