    Foreclosure in Michigan how long can I stay in th house
    I live in Michigan, can you tell me how long I can say in my house? The last payment I made was September 1 2007, and what can I do to prolong having to leve the house. I need to save as much money as possible.

    It took them over a year to auction my house and I was allowed to stay there until auction day. They said if I paid up the day before auction I could keep it. Now though I have heard of people totally losing their house within a month or two.

    Yes, it was about a year on the few I knew about, but then they can do it tomorrow since you are in default.
    It will just depend on the bank you are using
