No heat in one zone , gas furnace
I have no heat in one zone of home. Gas Burnham (hot water) furnace circa 1994.
I changed the zone head, no heat . Then I changed the thermostsat on the wall, still no heat. Heat works fine on two other floors, just not on my second floor. The lower portion of the pipe leading from the furnace is hot, but the pipe above the piece the zone head is attached to is cold. Its like there is a problem getting the hot water up the pipe to the zone (if that makes sense to anyone).
Any suggestions out there as to what the problem is? I figured it wasn't the furnace because the other zones work?
I'd like some idea before I call a professional out to the house. I've run out of ideas on repairs I can do myself! Thanks for any input. Ginger:)

You changed the zone head but it could be the valve itself that is the problem.
