    Snow clogs shoot
I think I know the answer but am looing for additional ideas in case I am wrong.

10 yr old 9 HP 2 stage Yardman snowthrower.

In moderately wet snows (which it could easly handle in the past) the snow jams in the snow shoot. If I don't back off, I smell burning rubber.

I think I need to check the adjustments, and possibly the drive belt.

Any other thoughts? Is there a spray that I can use on the shoot (maybe Scilicon?)

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Hi,
Yes it is time to adjust/replace the belt. As far as the use of silicone spray on the chute, yes you certainly may. You can in fact use Pam or another baking spray instead. It is more environmentally friendly.

    Thanks,

I changed all the belts and Friction wheel assembly, and everything works great.

I figured as long as I had it apart I might as well do everything at once.
