Hey everyone Im Debbie. I have Minera Iud for 2 and half months so far.. Some reason Im having some feelings I might be pregancy even I have iud insdie of me.. How can I tell if I'm pregancy or not? I took test.. it says " - " :confused: but I had been gaining 17lbs total.. overeating a lot,tired all the time.. my belly looks like pregnancy belly shape.. sick on and off in the mornings and mostly at nights.. blah. Im going to dr tmw.. what would happen to this baby if Im actually pg and I have Iud inside? Will I lose it? How soon does iud could be removed before it could kill the baby or something? Im worried that if Im pregancy again.. and they are removing iud.. it will hurt or kill the baby? I never had iud or anything like that before. Please help me! Im woried and scared!:( thanks!

First of all even though doctors say that it doesn't make you gain weight if you go and talk to other woman about Mirena it really does make you gain weight. Another thing is that since you have only had Mirena for a few months your body hasn't gotten used to it so your body could possibly think you are pregnant since it has something in the uterus.

Then again if you are pregnant it is good that you are going to the doctors because he/she needs to take it out asap. It may hurt a little bit more and you will have to be extra save so that you don't lose the baby. For the most part though unless the IUD attaches to the baby you and the baby will be fine.
