    Carcac use by a dieabetic
My dermatologist has just prescribed carnac for use on my face and head. I had a friend that used a wart removal compound on her foot which resulted ina large sore and infection. Her podiatrist told her that diabetics should never used these compounds. I was wondering if the same warning applied to the use of carnac?

Diabetics must be careful of extremities, especially t ype 1 diabetics, or insulin dependent so I can see why the wart remover did so much damage, not knowing the whole story though is difficult.

I don't know what you are referring to 'carnac', maybe you are not spelling it correctly.

    You are a diabetic ?

Thanks for the reply, tickle. Please excuse my typing. I am referring to carac, not carnak. I am a type 2 diabetic and was wondering about the safety of using this medication as prescribed.

I did find reference to carnac and diabetes but nothing definitive. That is to say nothing that refers beyond a doubt that Carac is used to treat types of skin cancer in conjunction with diabetes. I would suggest you consult with your dermatologist regarding this issue.
