    Thermostat wire conversions
I've got a Gibson Nordyne 914832. It's got the following wires...

    Y- yellow wire
    G- green wire
    R- red wire
    O- orange wire
    W2- white wire
    E- brownish wire
    C- blue wire

We just purchased a Hunter 44155C thermostat. It has the following wire codes...

RH (RH, R, VR or 4 24 volt)
RC (RC, VC 24 volt cool)
    G (G or F fan)
Y/O (Y, C or M air conditioning compressor -or- O reversing valve operating in cool mode [single stage h.p. only])
W (W or H heating -or- B reversing valve operating in heat mode [single stage h.p. only])
Y1 (heat pump compressor [single stage h.p. only])

Then it says NOTE: do not connect a "common" wire (sometimes labeled "c") to any terminal on this thermostat. Tape up wire and don't use. This provides electricity to non-battery powered thermostats.

So I know that the R converts to RH, the G converts to G, the Y converts to Y/O, The W2 converts to W, we won't use the C, but I don't know about the rest.

Anyone know what would go where? Thanks!
