My boyfriend is looking for a job and he has sends CVs but no luck how can he find job easily

How old is he and what kind of job is he looking for? Sometimes employers will toss out CV's that are too long or are a complete mess and filled with useless information, tell him to clean it up... maybe someone can help him... and keep trying

Hi, Nobuhle!

Does he also send a cover letter that's specific to the job for which he's applying? Does he also call the potential employers if he hasn't heard from them, in say a week or so time frame?

Does this Cover Letter include a resume? There are pages and pages of job sites to apply to jobs that he qualifies for on the web. Just Google "job"

Lowtax4eva he is 23 years old,he finished his matrick on 2003 and still looking for a job I just think his nt that lucky in finding a job because he has left thousands and thousands of cv everywere and by the way he done IT in college I can say he know that more help him..

I still think it goes back to a bad CV, how many pages is it? For someone that just finished school and is looking for his first job in this field it should be 1 page. A cover letter would be good to have also.

He should try going to a head hunter, they might help him with his CV and help him find a job, they get commission for finding employees for companies.

And it may be the positions he is putting in for, and his follow up, Does he go in person and tries to talk to them, or at least call every couple days to follow up.

You mail your resume with cover letter, you call in about two days to be sure they got it, you follow up in another 2 to 3 days to trya and talk to them.

Also are you listing a required salary, is it to high,

Hey everyone! His cv pages are 4 he is including everything he has done in college,school and also his certificates he got.does a cv have to have all of that?

Way too long, I have worked 35 years and have a list of colleges and classes and my resume is only two pages and I am considering shortening it to a one page summary.

Human resouce people normally stop reading after one or two pages.

Thanks everyone for all your help.I will tell him to shorten his cv.I hope he does find a job this time because this thing is tearing him apart even though he won't admit it
