    New water heater - no hot water
    We installed a brand new water heater in a rental property, and there is no hot water coming out. Any ideas?

    What type of water heater..

    Gas or electric?

    If electric: make sure you connected all wires. Also, check circuit breaker ( inside w/h and in service panel ). Also, make sure thermostat is set to 120F on BOTH upper and lower elements.

    If gas: make sure the pilot is ON and thermostat set to 120F

    If tankless gas or electric: make sure the control pad is connected and not displaying error message. If error message, consult your installation instruction for error number displayed. Follow the instruction to correct it...
