    Lien on my home
    I had a lien placed on my home. I have paid off the bill in question 3 months ago. How long before it is reported to the registry of deeds here in Massachusetts?

    Depends on a number of factors. Did you get a settlement letter? If so, you can take it to the county clerk and asked that the lien be removed. Ot you can ask the creditor to send them a relase.
