When I was 16 I had sex with my first love that I was with for 3 years. Many times he had came inside of me, but nothing ever happened. When I was about 19 I went to the hospital because of stomach pains and had a C.A.T. scan and a colen ocstapy, but they told me nothing was wrong with me. As I got older I wanted 2 have a child, but the more I tried I couldn't. I believe I had a miscarrage once, but never truly found out. I had gotten my monthly viset after I missed it for two months, and it was really heavy and all blood clogs the entire week. My mother told me that before she'd given birth to my older brother, she herself had two miscarrages. My question is simply: 1) Is it having miscarrages in any way heretitary, and 2) Do you think I coud ever get pregnant or do you think there may be anyway possible there may be something wrong with me?:confused:

Are you having sex with the same partner on a regular basis? It probably isn't a fertility problem, just not the right timing.

It would depend on the reason for the miscarriages and the stage that they occurred. Yours was pretty early (if it was one) and could have been a genetic issue.

I never heard of miscarriages being heretitary. Do you see an ob/gyn or doctor regularly for a check-up, at least twice a year, because if you have any concerns you should really express them to him or her. Exactly how long have you been trying to get pregnant?

First your overall health is important. You need to eat right, and exercise. If you drink or smoke stop and that goes for your mate too.

It took me and my fiancé over a year to conceive and we gave up when it wasn't happening but once we gave up it happen. So it will happen when the time is right but I hope you come back and answer the questions I asked so you can get the best advice for your situation.

Miscarriages could sort of be hereditary if there is a family predisposition to genetic flaws in early development. But that wouldn't really be hereditary miscarriages, the miscarriages would be a symptom of the genetic flaws passed down.

Or there could be a tendency toward mmiscarriages if you have weak cervixes. (I can't remember what that problem is called but it's usually countered by a stitch in the cervix early on in the pregnancy.) But that would cause a miscarriage later than 8 weeks, it would only matter once the baby and its wrappings was heavy enough to place pressure on the cervix.
