    Husband passed away !
    The mortgage to my home was in my husbands name I am on the deed but the note I am not on ! My question is there any way to keep my home now that I have lost over $50,000 yearly income and my income is about $22,000 and they tell me I do not qulify for the loan amout that is still due ? Is there any legal way I can keep my home I just can't lose my husband and home all in the same month!! Please help ?

    So sorry to hear about your loss, don't make any rash decisions while your grieving.

    Is there any insurance? I know my husband has a policy that is large enough to pay off the house if something were to happen to him.

    Are you saying that the loan company won't continue the note in the name of your late husband, won't add you, wants you to refinance and you don't qualify?

    Aside from qualifying - can you make the monthly payments?
