    Hunting rights
I was convicted of a felony in 2004 in Idaho. I was placed on probation, not parole, and was discharged early. The courts also withdrew my guilty plea. I plan to petition the court to get my gun rights back so that I can hunt again. Will I ever be able to hunt again?

    Hello j:

It's the BATF that you'll need to apply to to get your gun rights back.

If you were convicted of a felony, you will have to have that conviction pardoned in order to get your rights back.

I am confused though, the courts withdrew your guilty plea but you were found guilty. Were you found guilty AFTER your plea was withdrawn? If so, a pardon is in order.
