    I need my daddy back!
What age may I move out of my mothers house, into my fathers, without her consent? Do I really have a legal choice in the matter? I am 16 years old, make almost straight A's, and have a part-time job. I moved in with my mother 2 years ago (Not by choice), I have been wanting to move out and stay back with my dad since I moved in. Is it possible for me to move in with him without her consent, without it turning into a legal issue? I miss my daddy. This is my last hope, for answers. I have searched plaenty of sites, stayed up for hours, and still am not sure.

Have you talked to your dad about this? Are the problems between you and your mom?

When you are 18 you may do as you wish. Until then your dad will have to go to court to petition the judge for a modification of the custody. You would be able to testify as to where you wanted to live but it will still be up to the judge unless you can convince your mom to let you move back.

I have talked to my father about it, but the problem is, he doesn't want to cause any problems between him and my mother. Yes, my mother and I do not get along. We constantly bump heads about stuff because she sees everything completely different than I. I do not know how to make myself understand her, when she does not take the time to understand me. I had a life when I lived with my father. Everything was fine, and I was happy. Now I'm not. At all.

    stinawords,

My father has no custody of me. I met him when I was 12 years old, and we had taken a paternity test because my mother wasn't even completely sure. So he does not have any custody over me. My grandmother has partial custody, but that's all, just her and my mother.

I have been dating my girlfriend for about 1 month and a half now. When we first started dating we agreed not to have sex until we were sure we are in love so that way it could actually mean something and not just another sex session. Well about two weeks ago I was over at her house and we were...

Daddy DUI [ 4 Answers ]

I believe he had a DUI in 2004, although I didn't find out until after he broke up with me. I think he also was pulled over and had weed in his car. The wittnesses are hard to find, because he tried to keep me from my friends and family. I have no criminal record, but his speaks volumes against...

I may be 1 of 3 whose her Daddy? [ 3 Answers ]

17 yrs ago an ex-sleep over gal of mine, showed up at my house with welfare documents for me to sign, that admitted I was her newborn daughter's father and that I WOULD pay child support.
