Filing a motion for a order denying postjudgment enforcement procedure?
I have a judgment filed against me from a previous landlord. I gave the judge proof that I paid rent from a letter I received from my landlord but the judge did not go in my favor anyway. Without getting too into that because it all boils down to the landlord and lawyer KNOWING the judge... I had started to pay this judgment a little each week because I didn't want wages garnished from my paycheck. Since then I was laid off from my job. BTW, I could not appeal the judge's decision in time and do not know if it would have worked anyway.

I read something about the judgment debtor may make a motion to a court for an order denying, limiting, conditioning, regulating, extending, or modifying the use of any post judgment enforcement procedure (including the use of income execution).

What does this mean? And most important, what can I do to still fight this? The judge really was wrong and I shouldn't have to pay a judgment I do not really owe.

(I know it seems minor, especially during these tough times, but it is overwhelming to even think about.)

Thanks a million for any advice
