    2004 Honda Civic
Hello, Everyone ! My name is Ehmalie [pronounced like Emily] and I literally know nothing about cars. My 2004 Honda Civic recently failed to start. When I say failed to start, I mean I can't even turn the key or anything. I have tried (forcefully) wiggling the steering wheel but still nothing. I have had multiple people attempt and still nothing. I tried WD-40 and liquid graphite in the ignition to see if the key would turn but it did nothing. Anyone have any ideas??

Well if you've already tried wiggling the steering wheel and that doesn't help then it is pretty much a guessing game without having a mechanic look at it. The most common problem it would be is the ignition switch or the lock cylinder binding or seizing in which case it would either have to be filed down or replaced by a mechanic.

    Hope this helps,

    Aaron
