Touch lamps come on by themselves
My touch lamps come on when there is no one around. The bedroom lights come on in the middle of the night. Thought it might be the plugs but switching them didn't help either. Can this be a safety hazzard? And what can I do to stop it?

Noy usually a safety hazard but many of these touch switches are very sensitive to line voltage fluctuations. The tend to trip on from line dropage. Either buy a higher quality light or get some voltage testing equipment to see if yo can trace the dropage.
