    Is it possible to garnish a persons wages without going to Small Claims Court?

    Any creditor who has a Judgment can file a garnishment but you cannot file without that initial Judgment from any Court, not just Small Claims.

    To obtain a garnishment, you need a court order. For a court to issue such an order you would first have to obtain a judgement from that court.
