Will a disorderly person charge prevent me from getting a job?
    Hi,
I just received a background check and it stated that my charge type is disorderly person and the original gcharge was possess controlled dangerous substance or analog wandering. Sentence time served 42 days Fees; case transferred downgrade to w20050015442019 what ever that is. I want to know will this prevent me from becoming a dispatcher for a cable company?
    Thanks

You kind of never know what will show up on a background check until a background check is done - but I don't see a problem if you're a dispatcher. Of course, it's up to the employer.

The only company that can tell you 100% that your background won't be a problem is the company that hires you. If it didn't matter to your first employer, there's a very good chance it won't matter to the second - but, again, no one knows that 100% but the second employer.

Does your history NOT appear on the background check or DID it appear and you got the job anyway?
