How do I split a multi page PDF into individual PDFs?
Can this be done with Adobe Reader 8?

    Nope, you need Adobe pro.
    I'm sure there's a bunch of freeware that'll help, but as I have Pro I haven't looked.

I thought I may have to go the Acrobat way but I don't have it installed. I'll check my favorite free utilities site: Gizmo's - Best Free PDF Tools | Gizmo's Tech Support Alert

I do this almost daily. I use a PDF printer driver called PrimoPDF. Install it and it becomes a selectable printer option.

Now you can create PDFs in any program at all, including Adobe Acrobat reader! Just open a PDF, select print, and specify the page range you want to print and select the PrimoPDF printer driver.

    Voilą.

    JB,
Genius! I have CutePDF and didn't know it could do the same thing! Thank you. I ended up using this: PDFTK Builder and other PDF Resources which works really well since I can cut a 6 page doc all at once.
