    Temporary Custody
    I am 16. My mother gave my father Temoray Custody to my father last year when I moved to Tenneesee with him so he would have the leagal right to put me in school. Can she just take it away when she wants or does she have to have another paper signed by the lawyer.

    It would be a paper signed by a judge not a lawyer. She can't just take you back whenever she wants unless your father agrees to it or a judge agrees to it. Do you know how custody was established to him? I'm guessing she did it legally because you referenced a lawyer.

    To get temp custody, they would have had to go to court or at least file papers with the court. So to change it back they have to go back to court.
