    Cannot switch mice
Well, I recently got a new mouse and keyboard for my computer. Now, the keyboard seems to be just fine, but the mouse is another story. While the mouse works just fine, I don't like it. It is a Microsoft optical trackball where you move the ball with your thumb that plugs into a USB port. As I am someone who enjoys games on my computer, this can make my thumb rather sore. So I tried unplugging it and putting a normal mouse. However, the mouse refused to work. Is there some special way to do this or is my computer just being weird?

Did you install software for the trackball mouse? Is the other mouse a USB connection as well?

Well when I plugged it in I think it said that the software was installed and it was ready to be used. But with the new one, it plugs into the place that's specifically for the mouse
