    Allergy to thimerosal
I've been diagnosed as being allergic to thimerosal. I have been breaking out with blotches on both sides of my neck, forehead and lips. These areas itch. My dermatologist told me to cease using all face makeup to see if that would help. Unfortunately it has given me no relief. My eye lids and skin around the bottom of my eyes are red and itch. My lips are constantly sensitive and get red and sore (while itching).

I am trying to determine what shampoo, soaps, hairspray or makeup are thimerosal FREE.
    Please help.

Whatever you do don't get a flu shot or any kind of other vaccination. The flu shots are loaded with thimersol. I am not aware of this in shampoo or soaps. I use White Rain shampoo as it does not contain a lot of bad ingredients. I use Kiss My Face soap. I find this is good soap and does not contain a lot of drying agents and other things your skin/body does not need. I don't use hairspray and you should not either. I don't wear makeup as there are too many nasty chemicals in makeup. Skip it, you don't need it.
