    Can't forget about him!
It seems so sad and pathetic I know but I can't stop thinking about my ex.
We had our ups and downs but he was so amazing and I really don't know what I should do, my mates aren't much help as they've never been in this situation before! Any advice would be great! :(

Have you kept in contact with him? How long have you been going out? Describe the situation: vent it all out.

We haven't kept in contact, we were together for just over 7 months. It all seemed to be going so well, I don't know where it all went wrong.

Well, usually first loves are the hardest. I remember when I was in high school, I dated a girl for about 20 months until she broke it off with me. It was earth-shattering for me at the time. Now, I look back and see how foolish I was. You are young, and still growing. My advice to you would be to go out and get involved in activities. Find things that interest you in life. Spend time with close friends, and focus on making new ones.

Just work on your own confidence issues. You cannot be in a healthy relationship until you get your confidence issues resolved. Time will help you get over your ex. It takes a long tme, especially if it was your first love. It will pass and you will get better. Just be patient.

It is normal to feel the way you do, and half the problem is not knowing what to do.

The best thing is to do, what you were doing before you got together, and add something's you like.

It does take time to make the adjustment to being single again, after getting attached to someone you really liked.

Your supposed to miss them, because you cared, that's what being human is about.

I know exactly how you feel. I'm going through the same thing with my ex. First thing that you need to do is you have to be 100%... no make that 110% willing to forget about him. Believe me it is possible but it doesn't happen overnight. Time is the ultimate medicine when it comes to forgetting about someone you thought you loved. I guarantee that there is something to learn from all of this. So figure it out. Even if it's something like "not everyone is as trustworthy as you thought". But whatever it is remember the lesson. And whatever lesson you learned from this it's only going to make you a stronger and smarter person. Good luck.

If none of your friends have been through this, you must be very young.

You will find lust and love much stronger and better than this in the future, and possibly very soon. It's not worth lingering on this at your age.
