Shower drips periodically
The drip in my Moen shower head starts after every shower and continue for a few days and then stops. Other times it drips only for a few hours. What causes this? If the drip was constant I'd try changing the shower cartridge but the last time I did I had trouble pulling it out and don't want to face that task if there's something else I can try.

An answer to my problem question (Shower drips periodically) was a response by John Afaroo requesting further details (What is the model Number of your faucet, is it onley shower or tub too, is it a single handle or two? Thanks.)
My response to the above is :
I don't know the model number. It is a shower faucet only with a single knob handle.
I looked in Lowe's and the leaflet that I got there put out by Danco- "Replacement Parts for Most Faucet Manufacturers" shows a single handle cartridge type Moen shower faucet. This is the best info I can provide.

Previously it was leaking at the top where shower hose goes onto the threads of the pipe at top, I wrapped the threads with teflon tape so that now that part is dry, no leaking, but the hose continues to leak at the bottom (hand held piece). I totally unscrewed the shower hose from the pipe and see...
