    Debt Solutions
I am looking to lower my monthly payments to my creditors and I have been doing some research into debt consolidation or settlement. I am not sure what to do when I came across this site. I am looking for anyone who has experience with this or has any knowledge of this type of situation.

I have not done anything thus far but I am currently $18,000 in credit card debt and I am looking for a way out! I make all my payments on time and I always pay a little more than the minimum amount but not much more than that. My husband and I are living a credit card free lifestyle and with what we have budgeted, I can not afford to pay more on my debt than I already do. My credit score is okay for now but I would like to increase it and I know the best way to do it is to pay off my debt. The last thing I want to do is get involved with something like this and have it ruin my credit.

Does anyone have suggestions or advice? It would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried going into a bank and getting a debt consolidation loan? You would most likely have a lower interest rate.
