    Revolver's worth
I just got my grandfather's Smith and Wesson and the bullet chamber has a number P5941 on it. I have not been able to find anything on the weapon. I don't know the model or see it on the gun. A guy at a gun shop said he though this gun was made in the 1930s. Can you me identify it and maybe what it is worth?

J-9's hubby is a gunsmith. Hopefully she will look at your post and have hubby look at your gun. The grips look like they were replaced if the gun was from the 1930's I don't think those grips are the originals though from what I know of handguns. Nice S&W though.
