Cave crickets, also known as camel-back crickets from the hunched up body shape, require a high moisture content to survive. A dehumidifier in the basement is probably your best bet for long-term control. The ones you have now can be killed with any of the pyrethroid insecticides (the active ingredients listed on the label usually end in "-thrin": perme"thrin", bifen"thrin", cyperme"thrin", etc.) if you're careful with the spray. Unfinished basements are best treated with a dry dust as the liquids are often neutralized by the lime in cinderblock and concrete walls.
