    Birth Control Questions about YASMIN
I started Yasmin 13 days ago, now before I started this I would have just got my period this week but now since I am on yasmin its going to change. My first question or clarification is that I get my period while I am on the non active pills (or the white ones) right?

My second question is since I started the pack of pills in the middle of my normal cycle (w/out bc) is this going to majorly mess my body up. What I'm trying to say is since I started the pill in the middle of a normal cycle does that affect anything.. if that makes more sense

My third question is has anyone been on yasmin and if so what do you think about it. I went on the pill and we would still use a condom so that I would not have to worry as much about getting pregnant.. and now I don't even feel like having sex:(

    Any advice would be helpful:)
    Thanks

I was on yasmin for 4 or 5 years because I don't have periods on my own and it forced periods for me. I never had any weird side effects, I still wanted sex as much as before I went on it. My periods while on it were very short though, sometimes only 2 days! My Husband and I didn't use any other form of protection while on the yasmin... and even now that I am off it, but I think I may just be unable to get pregnant. My doc did tell me when I started it that if I took it properly no other protection was necessary unless I was on the white pills or missed a pill.

Also I don't think it matters when you start the pill. You will be out of whack for the first few months anyway. I spotted for what felt like a whole 2 months before my body got into the routine.
