    Wage garnishment
Can a creditor garnish my wages or tap my bank account. I am a contractor and my underage children and my mother in law are also on my bank account.

If they have a judgement and your state allows bank garnishments of course they can. They will freeze it first allowing your mother to prove what money in the account is hers to the court.
