    4 4 4 4

I think it is c, I think you it 4/17 is that correct?

    QUESTION 2...

    d. 6

I really don't understand this I thought it was 719*719*719... im really lost

Question 1 - I do not understand. Q.2: Isn't it just plugging the numbers? What is qubed here: just b, or ab? This doen't matter here though, but you have to be careful in general. If (ab) is qubed, then 7*(ab)*(ab)*(ab) = 7*(1*9)*(1*9)*(1*9) = 5103. If only b is qubed, then 7*a*b*b*b = 7*1*9*9*9, with the same answer. Q.3: A is wrong, because in general (a+b)(c+d) = (a+b)c + (a+b)d, or = a(c+d) + b(c+d) = ac+ad+bc+bd. Just plug your numbers in this expression, with a=3x; b=5; c=2x; d=1. And when you are done, make your expression simpler, summing together what can be summed up. Answer: D

Question 1: 17/4 expressed as a mixed number is 4 1/4 (four and a quarter). Is that what you got?
