Lump on a 4 year old Lab
Our dog is 4 years old is is hunting ducks this season. She is a yellow lab in excellent
Condition until today when we found a lump under her shoulder blake about 2 inches long.
It was not there yesterday. The lump is not hard but soft and it seems like she is not in pain. Do you know what this could be?

I have a Yellow Lab (mix) also. This could be so many things. She may have got bitten by something, and it caused swelling, but if it's indeed a lump or a sack of fluid, you really do need to take her to a vet to find out the nature of this. We can't diagnose her here, sight unseen. Just because she's not in pain, doesn't mean it's not something serious. Please take her in. Better safe than sorry. Good luck! :)
