Pharmacy print out from hubsands girlfriend
I just received a print out of all my medications from two pharmacys I use in town one has a special order not to give info on me to any one. Now the information was used as a off handed threat to me " i know what you have gotten and the frequency up tp and including today" I do take pain meds for a bad back and fear they have violated my hippa rights to threaten my costody of my kids. By the way this info came from husbsnd and his girlfriend. We are legally separated I did have insurance from his work. Please advise me of rights thank you Karen.

    Hello k:

Your kids can be taken away if you beat them - not because you take pain medication. You can certainly speak to the pharmacy's, but they're not going to admit that they spilled the beans, if they did.

Please post each question once - asked and answered on another thread. This particular post DOES provide more info than the original and slightly changes the circumstances.

    Should be combined.

You did not mention the custody problem on the other post - prescription pain medication, taken as prescribed, is not a reason to lose custody.

Yes, unless you are getting too much medication, getting the same thing from two different places to get more than requied.

But if your husbands insurance is paying your prescription medication, it is very possible he can get a copy of what it pays for. So he most likely can find out what you use though his insurance provider.
