    Name of a country song
    It is about a guy who buys a car from an elderly lady that had been sitting in a barn and it turns out to be a corvette and he finds a note in the glove compartment for the elderly lady from her husband who was a lieutenant in a war and the ghost saves him from wrecking or something like that


    I have done a little bit of searching but I don't remember how the lyrics go and can't find it and it has been annoying me a little

    The chorus says something like "the ghost of Lt. _____"

    I believe the song you are referring to is called, "Riding with Private Malone", performed by David Ball.

    Great song.
