    Oven won't turn off
I have a Frigidaire Gallery oven (model # GLEF378AQE). 20 minutes into baking at 400 it beeped with an F1 fault code. The internal temp was close to 600 and the oven would not turn off. I unplugged it and later plugged it back in. The oven just started to heat up by itself although the oven light was not on. I tried pushing the oven off button but it kept getting hotter. The clock and stove seem to work. It seems like it's in perpetual cleaning mode.

Maybe not. It seems like the oven relay got welded contacts. Can you hear a relay when you plug it in and it would start to heat up?.

If there is a clicking sound, then it could be the controller malfunctioning. But if you don't hear a clicking sound, then it could be the power relay that has its contacts welded together.

Be careful in handling live wires. Unplug the unit before servicing.
