    Breaking my lease
    My husband is going into the Military and we will need to leave our place in AR. We are in a lease till Aug. 09. But the job he took will take us to Minot,ND. Is there any way out? They told us the don't do buy outs. Thanks, Robbie

    Is it a lease? Like an apartment? We are in the military so we have dealt with this stuff before.
    Im not sure if it is different in AR but here in Texas military orders will release you from your lease. I believe that applies to when you first join up too. And yes that first move is considered a pcs and you do get orders for it. Take your orders to the office and they should let you out... check your contract for your lease for info on this. Also I would talk to someone at the base or location that your going to for help with this if the apartments argue with you.     Most states have laws that allow military personnel to get out of a lease if redeployed. You my need to provide copies of the orders.
