Office 2000 vs. Office 07 Pros and Cons
I know this may seem odd. Im a network admin and the company I work for has 160 users on Office 2000. I would like to upgrade to Office 07. I need some compelling reasons to spend 50,000 dollars of the companies money. The owner is not software savvy, nor does he like to part with money. Any answers would be grateful.

Unless you can point out some specific things your company does with Office documents that require 07-only software, I'd approach this from the opposite angle and be trying to prove to myself and the boss the expense is unnecessary.

As a faithful employee, I could not in good conscience recommend a company upgrade 160 computers when the software currently installed isn't broken or feature-crippled.

You might find your job security enhanced by saving your boss $50k.
