    Standerd Costing and Varicne Analysis
    i need some body help me on this




    q) followinf is the information of the groub company . the standerd data of the company to produce DVD's as follws:


    Materials 2Kg @ RO 2 per kg
    Labour 0.08 hours @2.50 per hour

    Variable Overheads 0.08 hours @ 1 per hour
    Fixed overheads 0.75 hours @2 per hour


    During the period 7000 DVD's . were produced . this was 500 more than anticipated

    Actual data is given as follwos:

    material purchsed and used (37645kg) @ .9 per kg 33,880
    Labour worked and paid (640 hours) @ 2.41 per hour 1,554
    Variable overhead 627
    Fixed overhead 1,220


    Requied :

    1-Material proce and usge varinces
    2- Labour rate efficiency varinces
    3- variable overhead expenditure and efficiency variances
    4- fixed overhead expenditure and volume, variances
    5- comment briefly on the causes of each varince
