    Transformers/inverters?
I need to replace some transformers to gadgets:
    a) How do I find out which one to buy?
    b) Where do I get them cheaply?
    c) Is a generic (by spec only) as safe as the original?
    Thanks

Sounds as though you are going to be purchasing 1 or 2 rather than 100's. So I would either find a local retailer or if you have an account, a distributor like Farnell (http://www.farnell.com/)

If you want 100s then try and locate the manufacturer.

Generic is fine, although you may invalidate the warranty. Take care with local regs as well.

Thanks Colbtech. You're right... one each. I finally got smart and use my label maker to label the transformer and wires to each product. Also helps on the USB hub when I can't see the outlet/transformer side. :)

Thanks again... I'll check the hyperlink
    Peace
