Installation of a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan
I have assembled this fan, and installed the bracket into the junction box, and am ready to wire, but the instructions for a closemount say to insert one small screw into the canopy, and into the bracket, so that you can let it hang to one side while you connect the wires. There's only one problem, the fan canopy is so close to the ceiling that it's almost impossible to line up that tiny little hole and screw the screw in. Am I doing something wrong, or is it just difficult to do? Please help, if possible.

    Thanks,

One of the holes is easier to line up than the others. You often use a bolt.

Some brackets will have a hook to hang the fan on while you do the wiring.

Or just have someone hold the motor.
