On Depo shot is it possible to become Pregnant
Im 17 years old. I had got on the Depo shot last month. I'm woundering is it possbile that I could be pregnant. I'm having really bad stomach pains, I've been sleeping a lot more than usually, I've been really like I have to throwup but I haven't. I've also been having bad headaches. I just want to know what's going on with my body. My fiancé wants to have a baby badly. He is always talking about it, he wants to be a dad badly.

My main thing is that a lot of people have told me that you can't get pragnate and some have. I just want to know what's up?

It is possible you were pregnant before your shot last night as you sound symptomatic of the first trimester. Was this your first Depo shot? I was a mother at 17, I would have waited if I could live my life again. No matter how mature you feel, you will be better off to wait no matter if your fiancé is ready or not. You could always just take an at home pregnancy test.

It's possible, but very unlikely as it is very effective. Did they do a pregnancy test before you got the injection? Any chance you might have been pregnant prior? If not, then it is more than likely not anything to do with pregnancy. Maybe you are just trying to fight off an illness. Certainly if you continue to feel poorly, or start to feel worse, see your doctor.
Be sure you do have your next injection according to the schedule and you will continue to have very low odds of an unwanted pregnancy.

Its always possible but depo is very effective, and as I am sure that they gave you a pregnancy test before they gave you the shot. It is a known fact that when you are on depo you get pregnancy symptoms. I have been on depo for a year now and I just recently got off it and I was also having pregnancy symptoms. I searched it online and it said a lot of women have these sympotoms when on depo and they often think they are pregnant. But it is always possible. So just wait it out and take a test. And even after you are off the shot you will still have some of the same symptoms because it can take up to 10 to 18 months before depo is really out of your system , but it is different for everyone.
