    Honeywell rth230b
    This winter I installed honeywell rth230b. Heater works great, but I have no a/c. I have 6 wires from wall.
    Rh--red
    Rc--blue
    W--white
    Y--yellow
    G--green
    Brown not being used
    Help it is 90 deg. I need my a/c

    Is your heating system a gas or electric or a heat pump??

    I suspect that you run a jumper wire from RH to RC... then turn off the power to the AC unit and have someone stand outside by the unit and you switch the thermostat to cooling and see if you hear a deffinate click at the outdoor unit. Is so that means you are activating the contactor and if the power was on the unit should run. Now turn the thermostat back off, turn on the power and then the thremostat back to cool and check things out.
