    86 Accord overheating bog down
Hello, I posted a question previously pertaining to the same car. I had a problem getting power to the fuel pump. Fixed that.
Now the car seems to overheat I think neways(even though the temp gauge reads normal) then bogs down and cranks and cranks but doesn't start.
Ive driven it twice and I get the same distance before the car stalls. That's why I'm broken down up by the same mailbox as before...
The timing was off and the Distributor needed to be replaced so I got a dist. and adjusted the timing and changed the plugs. Also new coil.Runs great up to the point when it bogs down.
When the car is stalled I can hear the fuel pump turn on as normal so its not that.
It will sit for about 30 min until it cools down and then it will start back up fine.

What do you suppose is the case here.

Therm? Ignition switch? Water pump? Temp gauge sending unit? Thermosensor?

Hey, how'd you fix the fuel pump problem? Sorry, mods, to hijack this thread. I'm having the very same problem on my 1990 Nissan A31 Cefiro, carbureted engine with an electric fuel pump in the fuel tank. When it rains, the engine bogs down and won't start. The same goes when the car is going uphill. What do I do?
