Holds on my account and calls
Okay I just want to now what my rights may be... I am 24 and 4 years ago was in a car accident and disabled for 1 year at the time I did have some credit cards that I used because I was not able to work but thought would be no problen once I was able to work... weLL I was wrong and now this past year I have been in a position to pay them down I have begun the process of debt settlement which I am thankful for... However there is one that apparently I wasn't receiving bills from because I did move 3 times since 2004.. well they did place a hold on my bank accounts and I have not been able to acces any funds for 5 days... I have provided this woman with evrything that she has asked for even though I was never contacted but I know that I do owe this money and have been trying to take care of it... unfortunately after faxing everything form paystubs and a bank statement(mind you it was my first check from this job... and the first "real" job that I've had since my injuries in 2004) She has not contacted me back to set up the arrangements Ive even set up a payment for the 15th and I have left messages and the hold remains on my account and it is till negative $1700 with overdraft upon overdraft fee... now how is it that I am expected to pay if I can't keep my job because I can't get to work and because I work at the bank and you are not supposed to have negative fund... Im not disputing that I owe the money but I was never served and they will not return my calls when trust my goal since going back to work has benn to pay these off.

Big mistake in giving her your info. What you need to do is petiton the court to vacate the judgement on the grounds of improper service. Assuming you can prove that, you can get the judgement vacated and the account released. They will reserve you at the court, but at least you can now start from scratch.
